Tucked along Geneva Creek, our mountain retreat offers luxury cabins with private hot tubs, romantic a-frame chalets, RV sites with full hookups, all creekside and immersed in nature. Plan a forested destination wedding with luxe accommodations for all your guests, a family reunion, a workshop retreat, or a romantic escape.

Recharge in Finnish saunas at different temperatures, plunge into the snow melt river water, roast a s’more by our gas fire pit, or unwind in a hammock on our riverside beach. All guests have access to grills, hot showers and laundry. Located at the base of Guanella Pass, adventure awaits with world-class hiking, biking, and fishing all nearby.

Our Story, Our Passion for Nature

Lostfork Basecamp was born out of a deep love for nature and a desire to create a space where people can reconnect with the outdoors. Our founders, lifelong adventurers, fell in love with this region for its pristine beauty and rich wildlife. With a vision to share this natural treasure with others, Lostfork was created as a sanctuary for campers, explorers, and families seeking adventure or peaceful retreat to experience the “old school” Colorado. You will not find any chain restaurants or strip malls here, just pure nature!

What a find! LostFork is amazing. The luxurious cabins with the lovely gas fire were so comfortable. We really enjoyed the saunas and the great hammocks. It's super dog-friendly, and the magical sound of the water made it so peaceful. Plus, easy access to hikes! Perfect getaway – we'll be back!

We rented out the whole place for an extended family gathering and it was amazing. While every house and spot had a ton of privacy, we were still able to come together to the community area with capacity for us all. The fire pit was an excellent surprise. We could still roast marshmallows even though there is a burn ban. I couldn’t believe the outdoor saunas, you can’t find that elsewhere unless you hike 5 miles into the woods. We would get hot and then jump in the river and then get back in the sauna. Everything is brand new and very clean. Each little house has its own hot tub. This was truly a remarkable space that will be the site of many years of annual tradition to come.
